Claude Code five-hour limits doubled
What happened
Anthropic announced doubled Claude Code five-hour limits, removed the Pro/Max peak-hour reduction, and raised API limits for Opus models.
Who this applies to
Claude Code on Pro, Max, Team and seat-based Enterprise plans; peak-hour restriction removal applies to Pro and Max.
The announcement does not claim a universal weekly reset. It is a dated policy change, not a multiplier to apply again to current plan limits.
