Saved rate-limit reset for Claude subscribers
What happened
With Claude Opus 5.5, Anthropic said: "We're also providing subscription users a rate limit reset, which you can now save and use whenever you choose." The help center says it is redeemed in Settings > Usage with "Reset for free" on web or desktop. The same announcement says five-hour usage limits are increasing on Pro, Max, Team and seat-based Enterprise plans.
Who this applies to
Claude subscription users, as the announcement states it.
The announcement gives a day, not a time. The expiry is shown per account in Settings > Usage; we do not state a date. WhenReset does not read accounts, so it cannot confirm that a given account received the reset.
What to do next
- Open your official Usage page and check whether a reset credit appears.
- If eligible, review the credit’s terms and use it when the extra allowance helps you.
- Confirm your new usage balance after redeeming it. Reading this announcement does not apply a credit.
